The breathtaking panoramic views from our parasails will give participants a rare gulls eye view of this splendid stretch of sand. You will be able to peer through the water to see the only living coral reef in the United States and the bustling aquatic life as it swims around this aquatic habitat. If you would like to enjoy the fabulous view and thrilling ride without getting wet, dont worry; you can lift off and land safely and dryly on the back deck of our high-tech speed boat. If you are seeking more of a wet and wild experience, we can certainly accommodate you.

Where is the departure point for this tour?
Check-in instructions will be included in your activity confirmation email.

Where can I park?
There is metered parking available near the check-in facility.

Do you have to know how to swim in order to parasail?
No you do not, each guest is provided a life jacket that will assist with floatation

What happens if the line breaks?
The line is designed to hold up to 10,000 pounds of pressure. The average parasail ride only produces 800 pounds. It is extremely uncommon for the line to break, but if it does, you are never in any danger. If the line should break, the parachute will slowly and gently bring the parasailers to the water. The parachute is designed to land in the water behind the parasailers, never on top of them. Your life jackets will allow you to comfortably float as the boat will immediately pick you back up.

How do we get into and out of the air?
Our custom built parasail boats will allow a smooth and easy takeoff and landing. Each parasailer, or tandem, will slowly lift off the back of the boat from the sitting position with ease, as you enjoy the ride in a comfortable swing-like harness. Each parasailer, or tandem, will softly land on the back of the boat in the sitting position.

Can people go on the boat and watch?

NO

Do I ever touch the water?

You do have an option of either a dry landing or "dip" in which the parasailers will be lowered in the water.

Can three parasailers go up at once?
This is up to the captain's discretion but, yes, this is a possibility.

I have been to the Bahamas many times, but Key West Parasail is one of my favorite trips! It includes everything that everyone should do here. As a Bahamas veteran, I can say only the best about this experience!

Thanks to the professional guides! I was a bit worried about kayaking because I had never done it before, but the instructions were great and I had such a good time!
