Make your Key West vacation one to remember! Join us aboard the unforgettable day adventure out to the wildlife refuges of the Florida Keys. The Island Ting adventure takes 20 lucky adventurers on a journey that you will not forget! This journey begins at 10AM, a perfect time of the day to climb aboard a cozy and luxurious sailing catamaran vessel and ride out to the calm clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Taste the saltiness of the sea as you sip on complimentary fresh fruit juices and snack on pastries, fresh fruit, and quiche.
In about 20-30 minutes, the Island Ting will have reached one of the many areas in the Gulf that offer an excellent environment for snorkelers. Here, you will be given complimentary snorkel gear and instruction on how to best utilize your gear. Then you will jump into the year-round warm waters of the Gulf and take a lucid peek into the fascinating and multi-colored world of the coral reef ecosystem. You will see a wide variety of brightly colored reef fish as they swim amongst various coral formations including both soft and hard corals. Not only is snorkeling easy and fun for people of all ages, it is also highly educational and eye-opening.
But the fun on board the Key West Island Ting Adventure does not end there. You will then be taken out to the Key West “Backcountry.” Here, hundreds of small mangrove islands create the perfect home for all kinds of aerial and terrestrial creatures. Keep your eyes peeled for all kinds of tropical birds and curious critters that make their home here. We provide two-person kayaks that allow you to get as close to the beautiful mangroves as possible.
A delicious lunch is also provided on the Island Ting. The lunch is buffet-style with an assortment of meats and cheese for sandwich making as well as peel and eat shrimp, fried chicken, a selection of salads, and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Beer, wine, soft drinks, water, and homemade sangria are also offered to guests.
