Key West’s pride and joy is the only living reef in North America that lies just seven miles off our shores and is an excellent site for diving. The sea life community in this reef is extremely diverse with tropical fish, corals, sponges, snails, jellyfish, anemones, crabs, lobsters, rays, sea turtles, nurse sharks, and many others. But this area is also a great fishing location with yellowtail snapper, mangrove snapper, mutton, snapper, black grouper, gag grouper, red grouper, yellowfin grouper, king mackerel, cero mackerel or the great barracuda. Take different stops and use ground chump and live bait to catch a huge fish! |
