Captain Joe Mercurio was born into a family that values fishing and the sea with a father who was one of the first charter captains in Key West in the 1940s and shared his love for fishing with his son. Captain Joe went from filleting fish and cleaning boats as a young man to working for several local charter captains from whom he learned a great deal about fishing in this region. He also worked in commercial fishing and by this time, he was not even 19 years old! Captain Joe started his own charter business in 1976 and never looked back.
His boat, the “Triple Time,” is perfect for a luxury fishing trip with two nice staterooms and bathrooms. The cabin is air-conditioned for your comfort and also features a CD player, TV, and VCR. The “Triple Time” is equipped with all the necessary equipment needed for successful fishing, including a number of high tech computers for navigation and fish finding as well as a large bait well.
