Not many captains are as experienced and have fished in as many locations as Captain Bennett Taylor. He received his Coast Guard Masters Captain’s license (100 ton) in 1987 and has was head of a Delaware charter, fished salmon in Cooke Inlet, Alaska, spend some time fishing in the Carolinas and fished all over the globe, including Costa Rica, Hawaii, and Mexico. And in between he even found the time to get his college degree.
Captain Taylor is a competitive fisherman who has placed highly in a number of competitions, among them the White Marlin Open, the Ocean City Shark Tournament, the Ocean City Tuna Tournament, and the Key West Texaco Classic. But that’s not all: he even was part of the team that won “crew of the I.R.B.A. Charterboat of the year” for two years in a row. You will definitely get an idea of this impressive record when you join this captain on his boat because he knows where to go for fish and how to get them!
His boat, the “Outer Limits,” is a 2000 42’ custom fishing boat with twin 430C Cummins Turbo Diesel engines that is equipped with lots of amenities for a great fishing day such as 16 rod holders and a 50 gallon bait well. Also take advantage of the Bose stereo, CD and DVD player, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. This great fishing boats travels at a speed of 40 mph to get you to the fishing grounds with no delay and give you extra time for going after the fish.
