Offshore fishing off the Florida Keys is always great fun and depending on the season, you can catch some large fish, including tuna, sailfish, and marlin. Use dead or live bait, trolling lures or drift fishing and customize your fishing tour just how you want it. Captain Pat will be happy to tell you which method works best for the fish you want, the location you are at, and the time of the year you set out to fish. He is a real expert and will do everything he can do help you score a great catch.
It is only a short boat ride to the deep waters and sometimes Captain Pat starts fishing for pelagics as close to Key West as six miles where the water is about 120 feet deep. Or you can ask to go 12 miles further to the famous Woods Wall where the water has a depth of 800 to 1800 feet and is home to blue and white marlin, mahi-mahi, tuna, king mackerel, and other fish that live below the 120 feet mark.
