Captain Jimi acquired his passion for fly-fishing by the rivers of Montana where he attended college and frequently tackled the challenge of freshwater fly fishing. He started becoming a guide for Headwaters Angling in the early 80s and was soon an extremely popular guide in the area around the Madison River. After vacationing in the Florida Key, Captain Jimi extended his passion to fly fishing in our saltwater flats and eventually moved down here to start a career as a Florida fishing guide.
Captain Jimi is known to be a very nice and competent fishing guide who is always ready to make a fishing trip fun and rewarding by giving efficient and thorough instructions and sharing his extensive expertise. He is fully dedicated to making this an all around fabulous fishing trip and will show you the best spots for saltwater flat fishing.
Captain Jimi is licensed as a U.S. Coast Guard Captain and also holds a Montana Outfitter’s license. His enthusiasm and knowledge are limitless and he will introduce you to all the facets of fly fishing in the flats.
